Gianluigi Donnarumma is the Man of the Match for Italy vs. England, the final of the Euros won by Mancini’s boys on penalties.

The 22-year old got 39.52% of the vote from fans on the FIGC website, ahead of Federico Chiesa (34.13%) and Giorgio Chiellini (5.88%).

Crowned European Champion after a fantastic tournament, he was once again decisive in the final. Despite not being tested too much during the game, during the lottery of penalties he rose to the fore, saving two (from Sancho and Saka). That final save secured the European Championship for Italy after a 53-year wait.

Showing how well he has done during the whole tournament, at the end of the match Donnarumma was also presented with the Player of the Tournament award.
