Here are the players who received the best ratings in Italy’s bestselling sports newspapers (La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport).
Daniele DE ROSSI (G 6,5; C 10; T 9,5) Roma 2-1 Parma
The performance itself was just a detail. After a lifetime with the Giallorossi, he bid farewell in front of his people. The Roma supporters gave him a long and well-deserved standing ovation and gave him all their love after a lifetime spent at the club.
Lorenzo DE SILVESTRI (G 7; C 7; T 7) Torino 3-1 Lazio
Another quality performance from the full-back and his efforts on the flank were rewarded with a goal. Another season spent playing at a high standard comes to a close.
Andrea MASIELLO (G 6; C 7; T 7,5) Atalanta 3-1 Sassuolo
A tough but historic night. You could cut the tension with a knife but he fought on as per usual. He stopped Berardi from making 0-2 at a point went it could have been fatal. Deserves credit for his display in a historic match for Atalanta.
Salvatore SIRIGU (G 7; C 6,5; C 7) Torino 3- 1 Lazio
His performance in the final moments was magnificent to wrap up a season where he’s been one of Torino’s key players.
