The big match of matchday 24 of Serie A is Roma vs. AC Milan, scheduled for Sunday evening at 20:45 CET. The two teams are separated by only five points in the table: the Giallorossi are fourth with 44 points, while the Rossoneri are in second place on 49.

The statistical head-to-head for matchday 24 (made possible by the stats section on our website, Figc.it) pits Leonardo Spinazzola against Davide Calabria.

The AC Milan full back has been deployed from the start of matches on two more occasions than his opponent (22 vs 20), with an average match playing time of 88.3 minutes compared to 81.5 for the wing back from Foligno, who also manages to be substituted more often (7 vs 4).

Their propensity for getting forward is a characteristic shared by both: Spinazzola boasts one goal, 25 chances created (of which three resulted in assists) and 14 successful crosses, while Calabria has scored two goals, created fewer chances (14, including one assist) and has completed eleven crosses.

Sticking with the attacking side of the game, and more specifically successful dribbles, the Roma star is decisively more effective. (33 vs 13).

Based instead on defensive parameters, the head-to-head is tinted entirely in Rossoneri colours, with the 24-year-old Lombardian winning 49 duels (43 more than his Giallorossi alter-ego) and racking up more defensive blocks (44 vs 20). It is relatively even in terms of interceptions: 26 to 23, again in favour of Calabria.

As far as playmaking is concerned, Spinazzola has fewer successful passes than Calabria (888 vs 650), but manages to be more precise, as seen by his greater pass percentage rate (81.6% vs 80.7%).

On a disciplinary level, the AC Milan player is more targeted than Spinazzola (30 fouls won vs 9), but also commits more fouls than his compatriot (20 fouls committed vs 6). Up until now only Calabria has received a yellow card (5). Neither player has been sent off.
