Although he hasn’t had too many chances to really showcase his talents, 19-year-old starlet Giacomo Raspadori has managed to turn heads in six appearances for Sassuolo this season, with his most recent performance coming during a 3-0 defeat away to Udinese. He has yet to find the back of the net so far this campaign, but he’s still demonstrated real dynamism and technical ability up front. Having come through Sassuolo’s youth ranks, he also shone during the Under-19 European Championship in Armenia last summer. He has since emerged as a fixed presence in Franceschini’s Under-20 outfit, recently participating in the ongoing 8 Nations Tournament.
While sticking with attacking prospects among the Italy setup, one also cannot ignore Patrick Cutrone’s recent return to Italy. After six disappointing months at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League, the former Milan striker has now joined Fiorentina - recently featuring against SPAL. The attacker enjoyed around 20 minutes out on the pitch, demonstrating the same desire as always, as he now seeks to get his season back on track.
