Given his high standards, this man’s absence from the score sheet has lasted for far too long. He returned to goalscoring ways in a vital Emilian derby with a brace that marked a clear upturn in his form. His second-half goal at the end of a 40-yard sprint towards the opposition box also proved that Caputo is finally back to full fitness.

 

Andrea BELOTTI (G 7,5; C 7,5; T 7,5)     Brescia 0-4 Torino

Torino had to show a big response to their recent results and they certainly did that with some authority against Brescia on Saturday. Belotti, nicknamed “Il Gallo” or “The Rooster”, converted a fearsome penalty in a performance which once more confirmed the number nine as the backbone of the Turin side.
