Riccardo Orsolini’s season hit a real turning point when Sinisa Mihajlovic came in. The coach’s faith in him and consistent playing time have been rewarded with the 22-year-old winger putting in great performances and contributing with goals
In the win against Empoli which pushed the Emilian side closer to Serie A survival, the inspiration and liveliness on display from the player from Ascoli Piceno made the difference. His goal to make it 2-1 sunk the Tuscans and it was a great effort as he found the net from range while running at pace.
In his eleven appearances under the new coach, Orsolini has scored four goals and provided two assists with an average rating of 6.5. He’s now playing an average of 83 minutes per game compared to 34 prior in a sign of the trust that is now placed in him, Keep it up, Riccardo!
